Thuddy with a bit of sting, each is different, as they're made of different woods.   Some of oak, some of maple, some of hickory, some of Delrin -- a machine made resin that absorbs impact in a way that creates incredibly deep thud with every impact and makes the toy last for years and years and years.   Each one is hand made, so slightly different.
